His work has been shown in several exhibitions in the Danish design museum in 1997 the young forum exhibition in Sweden and also the Scandinavian furniture fair where he was short-listed for furniture of the year prize. Having won the Deutche bank new design business award 1999 Bengtssons went on to show his in Milan at the Memphis gallery, and lately the Design museum "design now" contemporary design in London Now, and Sothebys "The Unexpected" in N.Y 2001.
